Did you know that an acre of trees, in addition to providing food and habitat for wildlife and up to two tons of wood per year, can remove three tons of carbon dioxide and produce 2.5 tons of oxygen? That's enough oxygen for 18 people per year! At the same time, that acre of forest is removing 13 tons of dust from the surrounding environment and releasing 8,000 gallons of water into the air.
